Self-Published Female Authors

As the first of the #BeyondThePages series, Self-Published Female Authors welcomes one of our continent’s “self-publishing powerhouse and literary giants in the making” (M&G), Dudu Busani-Dube. Dudu Busani-Dube has published a series of romantic fiction novels, titled the Hlomu Series. The series comprises of four books, following the lives of a young couple, and their families.
From the descriptions of the books, there is also an element of crime fiction in her stories. She acknowledges the aspects of violence in her books and states that it stems from her previous work as a journalist and court reporter. Her book series can be classified as Adult Fiction and it appeals to young, black women in South Africa.
We are excited to host our moderator Sewela Langeni. A seasoned communications and marketing specialist, and co-owner of the Afrocentric book store, Book Circle Capital.
The webinar will be hosted by Dr Judy Dlamini, co-founder of Sifiso Publishers and author of Equal But Different and The Other Story.
